BS 1.1 Introduction to Biblical Studies (4 sessions - £20)
 
This short course lays a foundation for later NT and OT modules by introducing some basic tools for biblical study.

NT 1.1 Jesus and the Gospels (6 sessions - £30)  
This course studies the four Gospels individually and considers how, together, they to inform our understanding of Jesus.

Ox: (1st Nov 6th Dec) 7.00-8.00 p.m.

SP 1.1 Spirituality (10 sessions - £50)  
Christian traditions such as Celtic, Desert, Ignatian and Evangelical are explored as resources for a contemporary spirituality.


Ox: (4th Oct – 6th Dec) 8.15-9.15 p.m.

CT 2.1 Creation, Redemption and Theodicy (5 double sess. - £50)  
The Christian doctrines of the Creation, the Fall and the Atonement are used to offer a Christian theodicy.


Ox: (4th Oct – 1st Nov) 7.00-9.15 p.m.

RE 2.1 Secular Culture & Interfaith Issues (5 double sess. - £50)  
This course examines the nature of secular culture and the dynamics of multi-faith Britain. How should Christians respond to this context?

Ox: (11th Oct – 6th Dec) 7.00-9.15 p.m.

CH 3.1 The Modern Church (10 sessions - £50)  
An ecumenical approach to English Christianity since the Reformation. It includes study of the RC and Free Churches, Anglo-Catholicism and the Evangelical movement within the C of E.

OT 3.1 Old Testament Texts (5 sessions - £25)
 
A study of scholarly approaches to the Psalms and a consideration in detail of some selected Psalms.


Ox: (4th Oct - 1st Nov) 8.15-9.15 p.m.

NT 3.1 John's Gospel (5 sessions - £25)  
This course explores the distinctive contribution of John's Gospel to the theology of the New Testament.


Ox: (8th Nov – 6th Dec) 8.15-9.15 p.m.
